Why did you pick a career in dentistry?
I was always interested in science and anatomy and wanted to do something that helped the community in an immediate way. Also having spent a lot of time in the dental chair as a kid, makes me empathetic to the patient experience and I knew I could hopefully return the favour.
What area of dentistry excites you?
I really enjoy oral surgery, particularly a challenging surgical extraction! However I do like the range in general dentistry, as well as being able to establish long-term relationships with my patients.
Favourite part of working at D+G?
Setting up our own practice was an absolute dream project and a professional goal we have been working towards. So everything from designing the aesthetic of our brand, meeting the lovely Wyee locals to working with our passionate and dedicated team!
What do you like to do when you're not working?
Spending time with family as well as our labradors, and taking them to the beach. I am also impartial to a new brunch spot

Generally anything 90s, but “Need You Tonight” - INXS will get me moving

Why did you pick a career in dentistry?
I was always interested making a direct impact to people’s lives with the career I pursed. After doing some work experience and seeing the nature of the job, I began my journey into dentistry. It is a great blend of healthcare, surgery, art and science.
What area of dentistry excites you?
Oral surgery excites me the most because of the importance of anatomy and fine motor skills, but all elements of general dentistry can prove challenging and hence I will always aim to be an all rounder.
Favourite part of working at D+G?
The impact we can make for our community holds enormous potential and the possibilities are limitless. Our vision was to create a calm, inviting surgery with a fantastic team culture centred around patient comfort.The local community is very charming. Every day at D+G is exciting!
What do you like to do when you're not working?
When I’m not working I like to be out exploring with my wife and our labradors, watching/playing rugby or sitting by the beach.

Why did you pick a career in dentistry?
I was interested in a health profession, and love to help people. An appointment at the dentist when I was 16 got me interested in dental assisting
What area of dentistry excites you?
The variety of treatments available for each individual patient as well as reassuring and calming nervous patients

Being part of a caring and happy team, as well as being part of a team in a lovely local community environment
What do you like to do when you're not working?
Spending time with my kids, family and friends. I’m currently teaching myself to up-cycle furniture using chalk paint

Why did you pick a career in dentistry?
Once I got braces I found a fascination in dentistry and how it all works, from there it grew into a passion for patient care and a love of all things dental related
What area of dentistry excites you?
Definitely extractions, implants and cosmetic cases. Also watching a patient walk out with a smile on their face really makes my day
Favourite part of working at D+G?
The overall aesthetic of D+G is amazing! Also the friendly, happy and encouraging team I work with is a blessing
What do you like to do when you're not working?
Spend time with my friends, family and husband. Also shopping and relaxing

It's a new modern practice close to home with lovely staff

Catching up with friends, going to the gym, walking my dog, going to the beach and seeing my nieces and nephews
